Volcan Arenal National Park a must see! At $6 a person entrance, it's hard to beat. The hiking trail seems to go on forever, and it's not in any way an urbanized, paved American National park, but it's amazing. Just keeping on the trail we saw howler monkeys up in the trees. You get to cross the rocks from the 1992 lava flow. To me, this was incredible! You have a view of Lake Arenal and the volcano, it's amazing. While we were in the clearing, 2 toucans flew up into the trees. A definite must see!
