After arriving in Orange Walk Town, we checked out a couple hotels, but none compared to Hotel de la Fuente. As we stepped into the lobby, their friendly staff greeted us immediately and right away we felt as if we were at home. It was an extremely wonderful stay. We were completely at ease. Orlando and Cyndi were exceptional. Carlos, the receptionist, entertained us with his spanglish. He was a very handsome young man. We will definitely be returning to our favourite hotel in Belize.

I arrived in Orange Walk on a Sunday afternoon. After checking out a few hotels I stopped at Hotel De La Fuente. A young woman was sitting behind a desk and a young man was casually seated to one side in the lobby area. For the next 30 minutes we all talked like old friends. I came to find out that I was talking to the owners, Orlando and Cyndi De La Fuente. What a joy it was to talk with them. I knew I wanted to stay there even not having seen a room yet. And when I did, I couldn't have been happier. AC, TV, fridge, coffee maker, bottled water, modern bathroom. The hotel accepts credit cards, and books any tour for you that you can imagine. The only thing I had to do was enjoy myself and pay the bill when I left. Which I was very happy to do. What great value I received for my money.
Then there was the personal connection with the hotel and its staff. The place is spotless, clean as a whistle, and friendliness was the order of the day from every one. For three days I felt at home because of Orlando and Cyndi and their excellent hotel.
Hotel De La Fuente was an oasis which met all my needs and then some. If you are coming to Belize for the first time or have been here before, a visit to Orange Walk is recommended and staying at Hotel De La Fuente is a must.

We have stayed at Hotel De La Fuente 16 months out of 2006 & 2007 and we can say by personal experience that this Hotel is a BIG # 10 all the way around.
By far the best hotel for the price and the friendly staff

My first impression was when I got to the hotel was excellent. I thought the place was very clean. When I got into my room, I was very impressed with my room. I had everything I wanted in my room. Orlando and Cindy who are the owners of Hotel De la Fuente, were really frienly the next day when I came done from my room to use the internet. They even told me about different place's I could see in town and around Belize.
I got married on the 22nd of December 2005 and when we got back to our room, we found a card and a baskit of stuff on the bed, wow what a great thought. Me and my newly wife are very glad to stay here. I am very greatfull to Orlando and Cindy and the rest of the staff. I am completely satisfied with everything about this hotel, Orlando and Cindy de la Fuente were and still are great and I will be telling my friends & family about this hotel and I will be comming back for sure. I just wanted to say to Orlando and Cindy, thank you.

The service of the Hotel is great. My wife, 10 month old son, and I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in January, 2007. I emailed them for information prior to our arrival and received prompt response with the full price list of the different room with their amenities. You got a variety of choices from regular room to one with kitchenette to full kitchen. They have A/C, cable TV, DSL and wireless access, and coffee maker in each room. Price ranges from $27.5-$70 US depends on the room. They can also arrange for a tour of Lamani with Jungle Tours just down the street from the Hotel. AS we arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the town, local attractions, and restaurants. The rooms were spotless and with lovely decor. It is walking distance to the different restaurants and town centre. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely will stay their again in our next stay, when our son is old enough to remember the vacation :)

My girlfriend and I included Orange Walk in our itinerary for the Lamanai tour only. We arrived Saturday evening from Caye Caulker and booked the tour for Sunday. Unfortunately for us there were no restaurants open on Sunday for breakfast. The owners, Orlando and Cindy de la Fuente were kind enough to invite us to their home for breakfast and we were still able to catch the 9 am tour to Lamanai. Breakfast was great! We had salbutes tapados which is a fried corn tortilla with ground pork inside, tomato sauce, shredded lettuce, and sour cream. Really delicious! They even played the piano and sang for us. I highly recommend this hotel if youre in the area. Great value for the price. Inquire about other snack stands that are open on Sundays
