Stayed here for 2 nights prior to going to their property on South Water Caye. Took tours to Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Xunantunich. Very nice Belizean staff and owners. Quiet and relaxing on the north end of the town of Dangriga. Enjoyed the small Happy Hour on Friday evening with local working people - and the cassava bread chips! Great cultural experience.

Top Local Tips for Dangriga

Internet Access If you are in need to access the internet, your computer will pick up the Pelican Beach router but for the life of me I could not connect so, no big deal as they have internet cafes in Dangriga. Also, Dangriga is a bit gritty but they do have a thriving fresh market (produce, fish, meats, etc.) so in addition to beverages it may be a good idea to stock up and experience the local vendors.
