So many people we spoke to raved about the moments in the dark and other things that Martin did that made the ATM tour truly magical for them. We missed out. You can find great fruits and veggies, local food, and even some good homemade wines and preserves. After that, you can walk to the Iguana Hatchery, which is behind the San Ignacio Resort Hotel. Get a picture with a dozen baby iguanas all over you. Then, you can always go see Cahal Pech, a small ruin with a neat little museum on site. Makes for a great local day!
