Top Local Tips for Frederiksted
don't be afraid of Frederiksted When first seeing down town Frederiksted both my significant other and I were a little concerned about actually wallking around in town. Frederiksted is not like Christiansted, meaning the latter is a touristy little town. Fredericksted on the other hand, is a town in St. Croix, not at all touristy, a little seedy looking. Our experience there was fine really. There are a few quite nice restaurants there. Especially the French restaurant. Can not recall the name of it right now, but it's the only one in town, and the food was wonderful as was the atmosphere. So, don't be afraid of Fredericksted, get out of the car and experience it.
Best sandwiches i ever had For the best sandwiches on St.Croix don´t miss "turtle´s deli" in Frederiksted. They even bake their own bread, and loads of it in many variations. Everything´s fresh and delicious. You can also buy their bread by the loaf (sourdough is absolutely fantastic but hard to get).
Blue Moon Cafe Live music on certain nights of the week - GREAT food and cool atmosphere.
