Dirty Baths The Baths are definitely a sight to see. The snorkeling around them was amazing. There were some problems though. If you drive there, it's a hike to get down to them. This would probably be very difficult for the elderly or those with health problems. The Baths themselves have trash and other discarded items lying around in places. Depending on when you go, it can also get crowded. There weren't any places that we could see to store valuables or your belongings when you go into the water. At the Top of the Baths, the restaurant and bar are very over-priced and not very customer friendly. Unlike other places on Virgin Gorda, you can tell that the employees are tired of dealing with tourists.

Avoid The Baths Too many cruise ship tourists. Go to Spring Bay instead. It's a better place anyway.

The Baths DO make sure you get there EARLY, like 7am or you will be overrun by people. The Baths are NOT for people who are out of shape, obese, elderly, have a disability, fear heights or treacherous footing, small children, or women are >4-5 months pregnant. That being said, I was able to navigate fine at 4 mos. preg. but saw some people who were having a hard time. (note above categories!) When you get there and pay your $3.00 fee, the path down is right in front of you. This is the most popular path and the easiest. However, if you don't mind a little extra hike, go LEFT and you will find another path that leads to the Baths and a MUCH prettier beach. Also, Please DON'T get hurt by climbing dangerously on the rocks- medical help will be unable to get to you without great difficulty ! Do know that the snacks/drinks/bathroom are to the RIGHT. No amenities to the left but a way prettier beach. Bring your snorkel stuff!
