My husand and I generally take cruise vacations, but decided to fly to this Island Paradise and just relax. We were upgraded to a Suite which was awesome. The rooms were clean, the service outstanding--from housekeeping to the wait staff. Our wish was their command. The food although somewhat limited dinner menu choices was excellent. The pizza was great. If you plan to go to Raffles to check it out be warned that you cannot just go over to that resort. Raffles requires that you "buy" a package--which was quite expensive, so we opted to pass. If you like excitement this is NOT the place for you--but if you just want to "veg" I highly recommend the Tamarind.

Add time to your iterinary Travel to Canouan is a pain because of limited scheduled flights. But they are expanding the airport, and that will help but in turn will bring in the hordes and ruin the island too!
Be prepared to enjoy a truly wonderful and natural Caribbean experience Bringlots of sun screen and a good book. Be sure to take the Tabago Cays snorkling trip.
