Great restaurants and shopping Go to Majesty Jewelers for great deals and excellent service. My fifth time to buy form them and have always been satisfied. Restaurants are very good in Phillipsburg and less expensive than French side.

Off season We went in the off season when lodging is much less expensive, in addition there are not as many people as we were told are there in the winter. We enjoyed having the complex (only one other couple was staying there) to ourselves and the heat and humidity were not any different than any other beach vacation in the summer. If you want to go and want to save some money go in the summer and pay about half price for lodging here. Also, there are less cruise ships coming in in the summer so Philipsburg is not completely crowded every day with people coming off the ships.
