pirate ship trip do a day trip on a ship used in 'pirates of the caribbean' (everyone knows the name but i can't remember it!). it was great fun, with fabulous views, good food and music, friendly staff, plenty of space and time on land before lunch visiting the volcano and a waterfall. after lunch there was some great swinging off the side of the boat and jumping into the sea, too. we all (family) had a brilliant day.

long drive from Vieux Fort the main airport for all international passengers is at the opposite end of the island so be prepaired for an hours drive to Castries the capitol or Rodney Bay and would cost around 50 US dollars each way, however if you are island hopping around the Caribbean there is a second airport in Castries which is much easier to get to, but only for the smaller planes not the 747's etc

Months that are hot and sticky The months of August and September the weather is muggier than at earlier times of the year.
