I stayed at this dump and got ripped off by the three young front desk clerks that attended me, two men and one woman. They took my credit card information and paid their telephone service Claro, T-Mobile, their telephone service with the Puerto Rico Telephone Company, their electric service with the Power Company, a few other bills in the state of Washington, among other things to the total of $2,700.00. This is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Dept. of Abuse against the Elderly. I would suggest that none of you do business with these rip off artists masquerading as a resort hotel with misleading advertisement. I know that time are hard for people, but I didn't go to Puerto Rico to get ripped off by hoodlums masquerading as front desk clerks. The car I also rented was almost broken into by a pick lock artist. I found the evidence on the floor of the driver's side of the car and reported it to the management which didn't care. I also had to wait several days for a refrigerator. Bad dump. I didn't think that this was what I was getting into until I was there and it was too late to book elsewhere.

Low Budget Latin -- Just A Bed To Sleep In

Wouldn't stay here for more than a night. Literally, all it offers is a bed to sleep in an air conditioned room with a shower.

Don't expect anything more and you won't be disappointed.

Top Local Tips for Isla Verde

Shopping Shopping is really cheap if you go out 5 minutes from the tourist attractions.

When you walk around in Isla Verde. Try edith's restaurant just around the corner from the hotel before you dive into the assorted big name places on the Avenue. And when you leave the hotel make a right on the corner and walk down to the Avenue first street on the left that go's down. when you reach the bottom of that street and walk around the curve you'll finds Pueblo's supermarket which is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week and it has everything from prepared foods to the greatest rum, beer and scotch they sell in Puerto-Rico! or you can make a left on the corner and another left near denny's and follow that road to the beach but make sure you wear plenty of sun screen.(It's really a must)

Transportation If you are interested in going to Old San Juan the bus ride is cheap and you get to see some of the area on the ride.Beach is near by but we didn't use it.
