They never return my money

I cancelled my reservation with this hotel on the time requiered by them. 2 weeks after they pulled the money out of my card account after they aproved my cancellation. almost 5 months have past, they dont want to refund my money giving all kind of excuses. Be aware of this type of hotel and their frauds with cards

Terrible Acommodations

First off the area is not a very safe looking area. The staff was not friendly at all. You have to make a special request for toilet paper and washcloths then wait patiently while they take their time in getting them for you. The room was extremely small and nasty, The bed matress & pillows looked to be 50 years old and were very uncomfortable and small. The window was facing the main street and no blinds to speak of and the latch was broken so it was very noisy from the traffic. The maid would just barge in without knocking. The shower faucet had a major leak that was noisy all night. I asked for a different room but unfortunately after looking at several rooms, we already had the best one! This place should be closed down. On the plus side..... Well I can't think of anything.

Never Go There!

I'll start off by saying if you go there it's the worst decision you'll ever make for your vacation! My friend and I went there this past March for Spring Break and we had the worst experience. When we got there we were excited and the desk clerk was helpful and nice. However, when we made it back to our room after a night of touring Old San Juan... there were ants all over our bed! Problem is, we had left our luggage out and open on the bed and covered in ants. They were everywhere, all between clothes, etc. I know you may be thinking we left food out or something, but that wasn't the case. We got to the hotel, changed, went into Old San Juan right when we got there. After finding the ants in the luggage and all over the bed we went downstairs and asked to be put up in another hotel because it was late and we didn't want to take chances. We felt that it was an unfair experience and asked for a refund, as well. As far as hotel goes, we had to stay at a $240.00 hotel room last minute(who had excellent service by the way) just because we couldn't believe the way they treated our request. We also had to Raid all of our clothing and then wash it aboard our cruise ship the next day(which wasn't cheap). They offered us another room, but how could they expect us to trust another room? We felt it was unfair that they denied our request for refund at the least. Please, if you are planning on going to Puerto Rico, fork out a little more for a decent place. I don't want anyone else's trip off to a horrible start like ours was.

I stay in this Hotel three times each time it got worst. I almost sue the hotel. I was a return guess, I like to give people three changes before they strike out. They don't hold rooms if reserve.. The service got worst as the years when by. And the owner dose not care. To bad the hotel is cute.

Top Local Tips for Isla Verde

Ride the bus! Ride the public transportation, it's cheap ($.75 one way) and it's a great way to meet and greet the local people and see the true island outside of the resort beach area. Can't beat it!

carolina and isla verde Rent a car. See all the beaches on east coast. Don't waste $ on tours if you can do it yourself.

pretty beach Isla Verde beach is quite beautiful, and the area is much less congested than the Old San Juan area
