Venture out for food Eat offsite. Ask up front, but be very specific with the dining experience you are looking for.

Appreciate animal life at night At night, you will hear frogs (singing "co-key") all night long as well as roosters in many places in Puerto Rico. There are also a lot of "street dogs" and cats that roam around. Be warned that many places have shutters instead of glass windows. Where there are glass windows, they are usually thin and you can still hear noise through them. If you want absolute quiet, this may be an issue

Shp before you arrive at this Inn Buy all your supplies before you arrive here. We were told that we could buy local beer at a local store but it was closed - for ever we think!. No much around here so buy what you need before you come, otherwise you will need to eat at the restaurants here and they are pricey.
