We took over The Caves for 2 days and everything was absolutely perfect. Everything from the food and drinks to the music, ceremony and the entire staff. We couldn't have asked for more. We felt fortunate to have this wonderful opportunity in February of 2002. I would highly recommend The Caves for a wedding or any occasion. It's a dream come true.

There are a few things to consider when going to the Caves. Do you want a beach or not? Not having a beach did not bother me. My wife and a few other couples missed having a beach. The pool is very small. There are certain locations around the caves that are more desireable to lay out making them more competitive to get. Some of the guests and my wife became somewhat tired of eating jamaica food at every meal. I thought the food was good and this did not bother me.
Having said all the possible drawbacks the reason I did give it 5/5 was the service and staff. It was so relaxing and laid back. The staff new all the visitors names by the first drink.
The Caves will need a few more weeks to get all the kinks out but I must admit they have worked VERY hard to get it were it is today.

Simply the bestfrom nmeoct
CAVES is the best BUT since we have been it seems like so many more people know about it so i was glad we got to go before it was this well known.
Request when you make your reservations to have dinner in the cave. We didnt know about it and it was booked. Also resverve the hot tub too.

First, I want to thank this website and all of the people for submitting their reviews. Without this particular outlet, I would have never found paradise. O.K....enough of the ego boosting....now, back to the reason I am posting this review.
The Caves.........I really can't describe what a wonderful time and such a religious feeling this place can bring to a couple. My wife and I want to personally thank Pierre, Norwin, Glenn(what a wonderful dinner in the cave), Lornette, and really everyone that has the pleasure to work at this fabulous resort. You guys really made us feel as if we were the only couple around(appox 12-16 people staying at the time) and I want to thank you for that.
We stayed at The Caves May 23-28 and I agree with other reviews on the comment that there isn't that much to do here. YEAH!!!! Just what we were looking for. If you enjoy eating the BEST food in the world, drinking as many drinks as you want(and fabulous ones at that), laying out in the sun, snorkeling, kyaking, swimming, napping, making love, and just reconnecting with your soul mate....this is definitely your place to visit.
For those looking for some activity, you can go to the markets(Kari and Mark from Colorado, thanks for the day trip and for the book), Rick's world famous bar is just 1/2 mile down the road, and other attractions are nearby.
We stayed in the Butterfly and we really loved our private cabana. Yes, it is open air and there were no a/c's, but you really didn't notice even in the month of May. There was a great breeze in the evenings and fans were provided. The water was absolutely beautiful and not very rough at all as an earlier posting stated, must have been that time of year.
Well, I could go on forever talking about The Caves. But, words really can't describe what a wonderful place and what an incredible anniversary my wife and I experienced. Thank You guys for everything, we will be back!!!!
And to Norwin and Dominique....Cheers Mon!!!!

Top Local Tips for Negril
Arriving and departing remember, this isnt America, the Laws are different, and many young idiots take advantage of the open society. We didnt see any problems until we left the resort. My advice, Take your Bride check in, and ENJOY EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No need to leave the Caves.
Things to do sit back and chill... seen.
To enjoy everything and to get the cliff area you want.... Wake up early.
