We came to the sandals inn after researching for many hours or reading reviews, looking at horror stories, and great reviews of the Inn and have to say that you need to pay attention to what people have to say! If you are looking for the big flashy resorts that have everything on site then do not stay at the inn. If you are looking for a place in Jamaica that truly makes you feel at home from the moment that you get off of the shuttle from the airport than read on. Dalton, one of the many great staff met us at the door way and led us to the orientation room where we filled out the usual paperwork and enjoyed the first of many Jamaican rum filled drinks. His welcome tour was very warm and made us feel very comfortable. Our bags were in our room by the time we arrived upstairs, the air conditoner was at 16 degrees C. and never once gave us a problem. The nightly entertainment with Crazy Ray was always exciting, The shuttles to other larger MO Bay resorts is not a pain at all. withen 10 minutes you are at the Mo Bay sandals and a few minutes later you can be at the Royal. The tours are all set up at the tour desk and they can assist with any questions, Do as many tours as you can afford to. They are worth every penny. I would not reccomend the castaway sunset seafood cruise. It is not the seafood that you would want and expect. The staff is truly so friendly. Everyone in the resort is on a first name basis within 3 days. Everyone that was there as guests got along, all had a great time, and as long as you are looking for a small, intimate cozy atmosphere, the inn is the right place. if you are looking for the big time party, crowded resort where the staff are still friendly but you are just a room number go to other sandals resorts but for a place where you are treated like family, GO TO SANDALS INN!!!

FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!

I gave Sandals Inn a 5 because the advertising is extremely false. The beach is PUBLIC. I didn't even set foot on it. The pool is the size of a postcard. We were very disappointed with the hotel amenities and the PUBLIC beach. They advertised things that they didn't have, for example the internet. I had to take a shuttle to Sandals Mo Bay and pay $10 to access email and email our travel agent that we were not happy. As far as water activities they have none...u have to shuttle to the bigger Sandals resorts for that!!!! We spent our whole vacation on a shuttle to other resort sites. Thanks goodness for those options. I will say the Carlyle was great at the hotel and the staff was wonderful. But the advertsing and accomodations were very disappointng and we felt scammed when we arrived.

Me and the wife are going to sandals inn for the 4th consecutive summer in july. Both looking forwad to it very muh as we know what we will get. The service is fantastic and the staff canot do enough for you. A little laid back maybe but thats the nature of the average jamaican. Once you get through the customs at the airport and are ushered into sandals own reception lounge this is where the service really begins. Your luggage is taken care of and you are given a drink wih can be enjoyed in the air conditioned lounge. The inn is only 5 minutes away and arrival you again are taken into a reception lounge, where drinks are served whilst the staff take care of the trivialities of checking in. Although trips and excursions are mentioned there is no hard sell, which is good, as me and the wife just basically chill for the 2 weeks we spend there. The beauty (or at least one of them) of staying at the inn is the place is quite small and intimate and we find this much more friendly than the other sandals complexes in mo bay. Most of the guests are very pleasant, and, although most are from the u s of a there is the odd scattering of brits. The food is excellent and if you like rum i would recommend you try a hummingbird and believe me i will be trying several. And then some. We venture out to montego bay resort on occasions, mainly for the breakfast and for my wife to sunbathe on the beach. There are also activities such as windsurfing, snorkling canoeing etc but apart from them, give me sandals inn anytime. There is a beauty spa at the inn which if i remeber rightly are quite expensive but if you cannot pamper the missus on holiday when can you? All in all we both find it an excellent place to relax for our 2 weekly annula vacation and find it a good way to recharge the batteries.

The best holiday i've ever had!

I've been on many Caribbean All Inclusive holidays but Sandals Inn was the best by far. The staff are amazing - nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is fantastic at all 3 Sandals hotels in Mo Bay but I would recomend making reservations for Tokyo Joes and Royal Thai as soon as you arrive. The beach at the Inn isn't private and the locals do bathe there everyday but that didn't bother us, they are lovely people and it just makes the holiday more interesting. If you wanted to sunbathe in private you should go to the Mo Bay beach which is beautiful. We've booked to go back again in May this year and we can't wait. Only 5 weeks to go!!

What a dump!

Absolutly the worst hotel I have ever stayed. How they call it a 4 star is beyond me.It is thre worst hotel I have stayed in and all the 3 star hotels I have stayed beat it by miles and the 4 star I have stayed do not compare. SLOW room service the longest took 3 hours despite ringing 3 times, dingy smelly rooms. The only good thing is you can go to the proper sandels but even these are very comercial and do not compare to any other 5 star, dont get me wrond they are very nice compared to the inn, but i think you are paying for the name and advertising more than quality!
