If you use a great card, the hotel will charge you twice. They state that the previous transaction will be cancelled and you will only receive on bill. I have been charged twice. One for the initial bill inclusive of taxes and the service charge. I do not know what the other charge is for. I have not authorised the other charged. The hotel is also very bad where communication is concerned. I have written and requested for a refund or for an explanation of this charge and I have not received a response from the hotel. I recommend staying at the Hilton if one wants to receive good service.
