we stayed in the starfish for 2 weeks in jan was brillant always something too do the weather was ok rained for a few days but i didnt mind that!some of the staff were friendly the rooms cleaned very day but were ok! the beach was lovely and the wee island was class plently of drink and food so i couldnt complain about that! but that american acccent really got on my nerves but we have booked to go back again at the end of june cant wait :D

had a great time despite the weather being rather cloudy and windy. Staff extremely jolly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. food in the buffet excellent, something different every day. Room clean and spacious with a sea view - a little noisy early in the morning with delivery lories and their radios blaring at full volume.

This was the best holiday i have ever been on, the stuff was so friendly, The food was lovely couldn't ask for more. The Rooms was nice. The Family pool was safe and had entainment every second, which was good. The bench was lovely and so was the little island. Wish i was still there, As i want to go back, To the same hotel. Miss all my friends that i have made. Thanks again for a great time.

I have visited this resort 8 times since 1993. This was easily the worst visit. The house band was accompanied by a woman who bared her breasts in a family setting. The hot tubs were always too hot or too cold. They no longer presented the wonderful carribean night, and no more strolling musicians during the day.

Had a wonderful time ar the starfish went there for anniversary in 2006. Love it so much went back in 2007 for our anniversary. we are returning again this year. Food was great, staff very friendly always willing to help. Beach nice pools good always have entertainment going on. Can't say one thing bad about the place.

Just came back from Jamaica! What a resort!!!From the service to the entertainment to the facilities - everything was great - only if we had booked it for a little longer! I traveled with my wife and two girsl 14 and 5 years old - they both found stuff to do at all times and as arents we felt we could do parent things as they did their own stuff! Great choice - may go back!

Hi, let me start off by saying this was our second time to starfish and it was as wonderful as the first, if not better. The staff was great. The food was outstanding. We signed up for the 5 for 5 and are going back again next year. If you are looking for the a very nice resort for the money this is it. Thank you again starfish for a great vacation.

No kid friendly food

We just got back yesterday and although the weather wasn't great, the resort was fantastic. We loved our room and the view was amazing. We faced the beach and also the stage for shows. My daughter got sick so we spent a lot of time in that room, but were able to enjoy the shows at the Starfish stage from our balcony.
My only complaint is that there wasn't really any food that my daughter would eat. Not just cause she was sick, but I expected there to be more pizza, chicken nuggets (or tenders), fish sticks and regular mac & cheese. Things kids usually eat. Instead, they had a lot of jerk chicken, chicken/fish stews, fried fish with onions on top. Things she wouldn't even go near. I was suprised because it's a kid friendly resort. The staff was wonderful and the grounds are well taken care of.

Top Local Tips for Falmouth

Go on as many trips as possible. Go to nine mile no matter how long the trip is, as you get to see where bob marley is laid to rest. That is a once in a lifetime experience. The dunns river falls trip is so amazing and go on the boat cool runnings as you will see real jamaicans dance and have a laugh at people trying to copy them. Rose hall is very nice but has a twisted story to tell but shows the real jamaica history.

Entertainment staff Get to know Mona,Chris,Huey it will make your stay a lot more fun if you are part of the varied activities.These are great sincere fun loving people who want you to enjoy yourself!They are happiest when they see YOU enjoying yourself..............
