We had an absolutely wonderful time last year and will be going back again. Normally, we explore a new resort or Caribbean island each winter, but we are actually returning to Puerto Plata and Sosua by the Sea this year. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the food and drinks plentiful, varied and delicious, and the grounds and room immaculately clean. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere at the hotel and went for walks to the neighboring resort or into town when we wanted more “action.” It’s a wonderful value and a fabulous place to vacation.
