I loved this hotel. Grounds were beautiful and kept very clean. Rooms were well air conditioned only downside didnt have a fridge in room. Food was lovely, different variety and themes every night. Pools very clean and looked after. All staff were so friendly. Fun club staff were excellent.Plenty of variety for children to do I have 3 children ranging 11-15 and they loved it, cant wait to go back next year. the plaza shopping centre 5min walk from hotel is very cheap, you do get hassled to book trips etc at the plaza but a polite no and they will leave you alone. I would recommend this hotel. Beach is ok, but i did prefer the beach in gambia. I wish I was still there!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty Good, but....

Good Points: Food was fine, beach and ocean nice for swimming/strolling, all staff were nice, English level-reception/bar=good,elsewhere fair to poor, hotel well maintained, (older sections however can smell musty, two newer sections fine) BUT; hotel does not own its water sports equip.! Subcontracted to a company all along playa dorada. Allegro has access to 1 (one) sunfish sailboat, apparently (1) windsurfer and these along with local snorkelling and para-sailing are NOT available at all on Sunday (surprise!) no breeze in morning means sailing useless, stiff breeze in late afternoon means no sailing and windurfing only for experienced. Playa Dorada snorkelling=waste of time, water not clear and absolutely nothing to see anyway-they'll readily admit there are no fish to see at all here. Personally I also felt just a tad "nickled and dimed" by (minimal) charges for pool table and tennis. For a 4-star "all inclusive" hotel shouldn't these be included? note that there's...... Read more

Rooms terrible

The hotel and staff were all very friendly and spoke English very well. The rooms were terrible. They are in need of updating. They have a musty smell and should not be rated a 4 star room.

All the staff were good but the fun club were the best they entertained you all day. Toni Mantana and Joe are the best club members. xxxxx
