My fiance and I teamed with friends and family visited the Iberostar in the first 2 weeks of July 2007 to get married. It was amazing they cater to all your needs. Santos was the wedding coordinator and when they say they do everything they mean EVERYTHING. The staff were so friendly and helpfull the room clean and tidy towels changed every day and bed linen twice a week. The food and drink was out of this world unbelievable choice without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Our party ranged for 16 years and under and 50 years and over and the entertainment in the hotel catered for everyone. My family and I would 100% no 200% recommend this hotel and location to everyone. The grounds of the hotel are stuning they have flamingos and turtles marble floor 3 restrants 4 if you include the weekly beach barbeque. They even have a night club on site so you don't have far to crawl home. I would love to go back and when the money is there were off.

The tradgedy of leaving

This hotel is so great. The staff really made this holiday for me. I would love to go back there! The staff are great and some are soooooooooooooo fit. Especially Victor. This is a great destination to go to. There are loads to do like a safari trip, swim with dolphins,sea lions, sharks,stingrays and have the time of your life and a trip you'll never forget! This location is a perfect place for all ages. The food is great and the entertainment is excellent so if you want a trip of a lifetime, I hope this has convinced you that this is the ideal place for you.

I love this resort. I recommend it to all ages. What made the holiday for me was the amazing staff. They are so loving and cheery! The entertainment was fornminal and the food was great. Cme to there resort, I've never been to a better place in my whole life.

We have just returned from the Ibero Star and very much feel that overall the holiday was 'good enough.' Whilst the beach was lovely and the weather fab, the room was only quite tired looking and facilities only just working. Some members of staff were great However others were dismissive and at times just rude. The holiday was monopolized by wedding parties, three on one day, which leads to us feeling like gate crashers at times. Food was reasonable, though the a la carte often rushed. Also felt that the hotel was out to rip off tourists with regard to the shop and in particular the exchange of money - refusing to convert pounds to dollars. Wouldn't go back.

How could I forget

Can't believe I did not highlight how BAD the entertainment was each evening. Loud and totally monopolised the complex with no way of escaping. We wanted a drink and to relax, not be bombarded with bad music and attempts as entertainment. Our room was quite close to the 'show,' which meant we could not relax at all between the hours of 8 and 11.

Fantastic hotel, staff were brilliant, entertainment was excellent especially the movie show and Lion King. Brilliant room especially with beach view. The animation team were brill, certainly knew how to keep us busy. The activities were good. Beach amazing, free drinks all day and all night what more can you ask for. We had a fantastic time, the food was amazing and Generoso who worked in the buffet restaurant was so friendly and helpful when we went for our meals. The shop staff could have been more friendly though, but it was not a big deal. Chambermaids did a good job. The pool was a decent size and was very clean. Will definitely come back to this hotel.

First time to this hotel and won't be my last. It was absolutely beautiful and the service was fantastic. The people who work there are so friendly and make you feel as if one belongs there, I felt right at home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Wonderful atmosphere.

Our second time and it was as good as the first time if not better. Friends went with us this year and they had a fabulous time we were so glad. Hope to return next year.

Great Sevice , Staff And rooms

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! When we first arived (me, my husband and my 2 daughters age 5 and 12) we went to check in and it took about 5 mins then we where showed to our room and it was fantastic. The pool was clean and quite it was a huge pool and easy to look after 2 children! We went to the beach on the 2nd day. It had a bit of seaweed, but it was good. The hotel was clean and staff were great. The sevice in the restaurants were fantastic to0.

Best holiday ever

My husband and I have just returned from iberostar costa dorado cannot believe some of the comments i read before we went. I actually got very anxious thinking had I booked the wrong holiday for us. We are seasoned travellers and like to stay at 4 star hotels which this certainly was. More to the point it was terrific value for money. We travelled premium with thomas cook which I can't praise enough. We find them so good we travel to uk to go on holiday our rep amanda in iberostar was absolute tops we stayed in block 5 on top floor overlooking beach which was a fab room spotless and our fridge restocked every day the room was fumagated on both wednesdays and certainly mo smell left and we had no bugs etc for the full two weeks. The food and entertainment were excellent only bad thing i put 2 pounds in weight on the ice cream cones are to die for i could go on and on with praise for this hotel that beats all with their fantastic staff i had just one suggestion that I left with the hotel that was people allowed into reception and lounge in swimwear should not be allowed when poolbar is available a very small observation for holiday we had I would say to anyone who has booked to go get ready for you are in for a fab time and make sure to have a look in harrisons jewellers fantastic also some great trips to go on we also had 2 weeks of glorious sunshine a few storms during odd day but fascinating to experience were gone in hour also the beach and sea fab some seaweed but nothing to stop you being on beach all day like we were from 7.30am till 4pm each day heaven i would have no hesistation in recommending iberostar costa dorado to anyone and will certainly be going back.
