We were also robbed. The manager refused to called the police. I had to call myself....both our suitcases and belongings were stolen. They claim anything not in the safe they aren't responsible for... What a dump.. I would Never never stay there again.. Do yourself a favor, don't go there

The hotel was very nice, service was great. Our room was broken into and after many meetings with hotel management, we were told that they take NO repsonsibility for this! We know that the culprit was the maintenance man who replaced our fan, but the hotel manager said that they were NOT responsbile for anything!!! The thief stole gifts for our family who live in Dominican Republic (jewellery worth $1000) that we brought down for our grandchildren. We also learned from speaking to other people that others were robbed of passports, jewellery, credit card, cheques, etc. while there. Dangerous place, but the hotel said that this has never happened before and would not even offer an apology or discount or credit. We will NEVER stay there again!
