We loved Reina Cumayasa Beach Resort. It was more than we expected. Having traveled to most Caribbean islands over the years and to most countries in South America and Asia, we are truly pleased with our vacation in the Dominican Republic. We just spent a wonderful week Feb 23 to March 2, 2006 at the Reina Cumayasa Beach Resort. We were so surprised and pleased at the huge junior suite we each had, with a large 12 foot x 12 foot balcony, huge living room, large bedroom and large marble bathroom with a large tub and separate marble shower. Everything everywhere was spotless. We had thought the beautiful pictures on the Go Travel Direct website and Reina Cumayasa’s website were only of the larger suites. Our beautiful junior suite, overlooking a beautiful view of the bay was only surpassed by all of the staff at this resort. Every staff learned our names, remembered our favourite drink and made our stay one of the most memorable vacations we have had. The staff are happy, helpful and respectful, lead by a very capable Management Team. Being a smaller resort, we never had to go without a chair at the pool or the beach or a table in the dining room. We didn’t wait or want for anything. There was never a line up and never a shortage of activities if you chose to join. My 20 and 21 year old young adult children enjoyed dancing at night, bonfires on the beach, volleyball, tennis, horseback riding, biking etc. There were two short utility interruptions but the staff responded appropriately. With a smaller hotel resort you will not find thirty different main dishes at mealtime but the choices and food tastes were excellent. Go Travel Direct has tours we could take or we could hire a taxi and driver and explore on our own. We did both and were very satisfied. The one day trip to Isla Saona was terrific. I returned home rested while the young adults were exhausted and that is how a great vacation should be. We all have wonderful memories. We will return to the Dominican Republic and to Reina Cumayasa Beach Resort and will ask for rooms 104 and 105 again.

Staff are wonderful, Junior Suites are huge with large living room, large bedroom and large marble bathroom. Resort is clean and fun. We enjoyed volleyball, tennis, swimming, dancing, beach bonfires.
