LITTLE TOWN People are friendly and just want to show you their shops, they all speak 4-5 languages, but keep an eye out for the ladies that sneak up on you and start braiding your or your children's hair, they say it's ok but then THEY ASK YOU FOR MONEY !!

village definitely take a walk to the village of Caberete, go to Jose O'Shay's and othe restaurants/bars on the beach. The beer at Jose's we thought was a bit expensive at $6 a bottle, that was for Corona or Heineiken or othe imports but the Presidente is about $3 a bottle

whale watching Contact Iguana Mama in Cabarete if you want to do the proper whale watching trip with a Marine Biologist. Trip currently apparently only goes on Thursdays. We missed and went on one of the hotel tours and they send you out on a small boat with 15 people capacity and the Dominican captain speaks little or no English and can't tell you anything about the whales.
