A hiker's paradise! If you enjoy hiking, there are so many fantastic options to you, no matter what skill level you are at. For the more experienced hiker - you NEED to hike the boiling lake. You'll hike two mountains to get to the 2nd largest boiling lake in the world. Just over 10 miles round trip; will take ~8 hours. Moderate hikers: don't miss Middleham Falls hike - everyone should do this. Short hike (about 45 mins one way) that takes you to a gorgeous waterfall. When you get to the fall, climb down (carefully) to the pool where the waterfall is, swim to the cave next to the waterfall and jump in! (Water is COLD though, but it's a great time!). Beginner hikers & everyone else: Trafalgar Falls is wonderful. VERY short walk (over partially paved roads) to get to HOT SPRINGS! Natural hot tubs that you just relax in for as long as you like. You can walk through the different hot springs to eventually get to the waterfall. HAVE FUN!!!

The view from the Cruise Ship -- and the rest of the town We could see the Bayfront shops from the restaurant where we ate breakfast every morning, and could see the sanitized view that created the cruise ships that came in about every other day. Just one block back was the real Roseau -- not as freshly painted, but more interesting, really. You walked on cobblestones that were centuries old, and ate in very simple restaurants if you just took the trouble to go a little further.
