On a recent visit, we had money stolen from the safe in our room after a series of dubious events involving a room change and problems with our keys. The management's response was atrocious. They accused us of lying and were very rude and aggressive. We tried to report the theft to the police, but they accepted the hotel's version without question -- they were clearly very friendly with the hotel management. It was all very unpleasant.
It's a shame because I had stayed here before and liked it because of its small size, location, and friendly housekeeping/maintenance staff. But unless the management changes, or you like carrying all your valuables around with you everywhere, stay away from this hotel. |
