Wash your vegetables If you are buying food from the grocery store, make sure you wash/peel fresh veggies well. We caught a bug. Groceries are a BIT expensive, compared to your big city supermarket, but not too bad. You can save a lot of money by making your own meals.

Schedule in advance! The accomidations on this island are limited which is the best part and the worst part. It's never crowded but if you don't plan ahead your out. The people of Little Cayman like it low key so there are no monster hotels, shopping districts or trendy restaraunt chains. It's awesome, it's private and it's a great get away. Plan your dives and book them weeks if not months out. The same goes for your accomidations. Another tip, the locals love you so ask questions. Where to go out Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night and the like. People on the island travel in a giant pack and everyone goes to the same place on the same night. Be sure to get in the loop so you don't miss a single thing!Final tip. Dress cool and comfortable. Flip flops, shorts and tanks. No dresses required:) This is the most relaxed place you will ever visit.

Food provisions There is only one food store on the island and it's rather pricey, so if you can, bring some basic provisions with you - teabags/ coffee/cereals etc
