Top Local Tips for Grand Cayman

Best part of Seven Mile Beach Go to the northern end of seven mile beach. Park on the road where you see a brown Beach Access sign. There are several. They are mostly past all the hotels where all the condos are. Walk down the path to a gorgeous beach with very few people. Don't go to the beaches that are titled "Public Beach" unless you want to rent chairs, and be with a whole lot of people.

GET RENTAL CAR! Do not rely on their $15 per person for the week limited shuttle Ask the various employees at the counter (day and night) where to go and what to do, based on your interests. They were very helpful and made our last couple days really wonderful.Get a rental car. The hassle and expense will be worth it if you are staying at the Grand Caymanian. Trust me.

hurricane season avoid the island during mid August -mid October due to unstable weather. This is the middle of hurricane season and can mess with your plans.
