General Observations Andy's rent a car seemed a good deal. Fosters Food Fair and Hurleys both have large variety of foods. I believe prices fluctuate depending on cruise ship arrivals! Use coupons in the activity guides (available at airport and just about everywhere!) to save you money. Things are quiet on Sunday mornings (church days). People seem very friendly! Island is generally expensive, but standard of living is higher than many islands we've been to as well. Airport departure - don't "shave" your time as the line ups are terrible at the understaffed airport.

Two great places to eat I highly recommend Thai Orchid and The Cracked Conch for dining out. Thai Orchid has GREAT sushi and Asian cuisine, and The Cracked Conch has excellent seafood/casual fare, with a wonderful deck overlooking the ocean.

Grand Cayman airport Plan LOTS of time to get out of the airport - waits to check in can be over two hours. the personnel are on "island time" but the planes aren't!
