Charter Sailboat - This was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST thing we have EVER DONE IF TRAVELING to BONAIRE - THIS IS A MUST! Our Story: A group of 8 from the US were ported in Bonaire while on a southern caribbean cruise. We arrived on the dock in Bonaire and encountered a lovely couple from the Netherlands who asked if we would like to charter their sailbot "Bowalie". We decided this sounded like a PERFECT idea (as we had planned on sight-seeing anyway) and what better way than by water! Well what we found was the most magnificent surprise! We (all veteran cruisers) found this to be the best excursion EVER! Why: 1) our hosts (Walter and Lieseth) could not have been nicer. 2) We toured this beautiful island 3) Enjoyed complimentary beverages & snacks 4) Snorkeling in Bonaire is FANTASTIC - our hosts provided snorkel gear 5) Our hosts also brought along underwater camera and supplied pictures of our group FREE OF CHARGE! 6) The price per person MUCH less than any other, and was our intimate group!
