Hamilton For long stays, being close to Hamilton was a major plus. Remember there are no rental cars here and you need to find a reliable taxi driver who can become your personal driver and tour guide. We found one of the best and he made our stay so much easier.

Safety in Bermuda I would recommend being very careful when you go out to bars and/or clubs at night. We felt incredibly unsafe in Hamilton. Additionally, the police don't seem to care what's going on. We had an incident and I can assure you the laws in Bermuda are not favorable to tourists. You have virtually no rights. If anything happens, you won't even be able to get a copy of the reports filed in the matter. If you request any information, you are told you have no rights to receive the information. Just an FYI. I would be aware if you go out. The people of this island are really nice and friendly. They are definitely warm and welcoming. Just be aware and cautious when going out for a night on the town in Hamilton.
