Cocomos A lovely restaurant! It is not pretentious at all like other places, just very relaxed with nice food. If you are interested in going, pop in and reserve a table. You could always ask for a table right at the beach front, but I would ask for an earlier table and then arrive half an hour before the reservation and go to the bar so that is more likely you get the table. It is not guaranteed that you will get the table you ask for as they do not hurry people out, and you can always tell the staff that you will wait until the table you want becomes availiable. We saw quite a few families there with young children, and the waiting staff were very good with them.

Buses Taxis In Barbados there are Blue Buses and Yellow Buses. On these buses you can go just about anywhere in Barbados. The difference between the two are blue buses are government run and yellow are individually owned, also you have to have exact change on the blue and the yellow will make change. They are not expensive to ride , $1.50 Barbadian Dollars (BD). Taxis are great to use especially for going to and from the airport and when you go somewhere that you don't want to take the bus. Before you get into a taxi ask for price and make sure what currency it is in. American or Barbadian Dollars they will take either. Just remember one American dollar will give you two Barbadian dollars.

heatstroke barbados is great anytime of the year it is NEVER cold ,but it is a good idea to stay out of the sun between around 11am and 3 pm because you wont realise but you are being slowly fried, you can get burnt in 15 minutes.
