We rented a car and drove to the east coast. The drive was a bit tricky since there were many forks in the road and the maps were difficult, but we got the hang of it after awhile. The Edgewater is magnificent: it sits on top of a cliff with stunning views from the restuarant, poolside, our room, ANYWHERE! Little birds will fly into the rooms and restaurant to sing every day. One even stole my croissant! Everyone is so friendly and willing to help us out on where to go, what to do, and even upgraded for us a room with a better view for free (since they weren't fully occupied). We could hear the ocean from our room, and there was even a rainforest behind the hotel where monkeys lived!! They even taught us how to eat a mango we bought from a vendor! Would go back in a heartbeat.
