Top Local Tips for Freeport

This "resort" is located next to NOTHING!!! Stay at a different resort, and no matter what, rent a car, so you can really see the island and experience it like it should be. Although, there are still sections of the island which haven't been rebuilt since last hurricane. So some attractions are still closed. But the beaches on this island are beautiful and there's just something about them that leaves you wanting to stay at the beach!

One stop for nighlife and dining. Drive (or taxi) to Lucaya for a great casino, about 20 restaurants and live free music on weekends. The food is great and not too expensive if you stay out of the large new hotels at Lucaya. Great selection of ethnic foods... Greek, Italian, Irish, American, Bahamian, Seafood of all types and basically anything you prefer.
