Get A Car!! Don't even hesitate! Not having a car was our only mistake. We had to have singles on us at all times which was difficult.

Great places to eat Check out Passions (at Amsterdam Manor), the Flying Fishbone, Pinchos Bar and Grill and La Trattoria El Faro Blanco for dinners with nice sunsets. Good food, very expensive. Make reservations for all at least 24-48 hours in advance to get a table for the sunset (in the off season July)

Aruba - Over Rated Aruba is truly for sun worshippers and those who want a quite get away. There is not a whole lot to do. I realized that two weeks for me was too long. One week would have been enough. I was not impressed with the local people. Actually, I found them rude and obnoxious and would rather take my chances with the French who were more welcoming despite a poor reputation. Further, I found many of the locals to suffer from a color complex. The lighter your skin is, the better you are treated unless you are white. I would not visit Aruba again, even if I got a free airline ticket.
