Some good eateries Trappas - best food/atmosphere combination; Mad Mongoose - good atmosphere, good place to have final drink in the evening, food ok (avoid the curry). Pizza Oven - not bad and very quick service. Lacking in atmosphere when we were there although we were out of the main season. Apparently English Harbour is heaving during the main season - November to May. We were plagued by sand flies which seemed oblivious to any repellant, including "OFF" which has a high concentration of Deet. When we wre in the sea at Half Moon Bay we noticed a mongoose family of rifling through some other bathers stuff and tried to make off with a can of peanuts!
