Top Local Tips for Meads Bay

Restaurants and dining in Unless money is no object, we enjoyed having a full kitchen in our villa. Food is very expensive, and it was nice to be able to fix breakfast and lunch when we wanted and not have to eat out all of the time. When we did, we found Nico's to be very reasonable for breakfast. Also, Tasty's has the best pancakes I have ever eaten.

Lucy's at Longbay Lucy's was recommended by the hotel staff for a great "local" meal, and it was!! One of the cheapest dinners we had in Anguilla, also one of the best! Lucy waits tables and works in the kitchen, so you should call ahead. If she feels too "busy", she'll turn you away at the door! We ate here on Monday night, there were 2 other tables in the restaurant, and she turned people away! Great food, real Caribbean atmosphere and Lucy's fun, too!

Car Taxis on the island are fine, but rental cars are very reasonable. Recommend that travelers acquire one for use during their stay.
