Most compelling hotel we have been in Vietnam, everything is made to make your stay pleasant! Nicholas and Yen are adorable hosts and are helping with recommendation and advice; a time saver. My husband and I are very grateful to have found such a place. Our balcony room was just perfect; shower rain, big tv, working air con and all that for just 25$. Go there, you'll love it!

Ha Van Hotel a solid hotel.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Honest and helpful staffs. Nicolas, his wife and the kids are lovely and good host (genuinely good persons). Not that everything is that perfect but nothing to really complain about, it's not the Ritz and you are in Vietnam. For the price, a real bargain even if there is cheaper around. You have what you pay for in other cheaper hotels. Got Free Wi-fi, hot water, comfortable beds and very good breakfasts (sadly not included on the price-but all good!). Saw many good reviews on other websites and agree that this must be the place to be in Nha Trang.
Be sure to have some beers on the 5th floor bar/lounge! View on Nha Trang is fantastic.

Top Local Tips for Nha trang

Mud baths The mud baths are a fantastic way to spend a half day. We hired motorbikes and rode there ourselves but if you are not up to that then catch a taxi. We had a quad tub mudbath followed by a swim in the 38 degree thermal pool and topped off with a brilliant massage & steam bath. Very relaxing way to spend the morning.

Don't believe the travel doctors.... street food in Nha Trang is fabulous If you want a cheap, healthy meal, you can't beat the street vendors for everything from banh mi sandwiches to pho beef noodle soup. Most street stalls specialize in just one food and therefore become experts at it. We ate at street stalls for 3 weeks and never got sick. Dig in!

When to travel in Vietnam Do not go to Vietnam in June or July unless you love the heat. I have never experience heat like when I was there in June and had to leave one whole week early as my body could not take it. I got quit sick. First time I went to vietnam was in January and it was absolutely gorgeous, perfect weather. Just after the rainy season just before the heat.
