Perfume River The Perfume River is an attraction that divides the city. One bridge with colour-changing lights is considered "romantic" by the locals. In fact, the river park really seems to be a dating spot, with night spots and river view park benches and lots of young couples. The Citadel is of course a must. In general this seems to be a laid-back town, with far less pressure on tourists from hawkers and such to part with their money, certainly compared to Hanoi or HCMC.
