Fantastic new hotel in Hue
from kaido34Camellia and service go hand in hand
from steve837The service, especially from everyone at the front desk was excellent. The room was very clean, new and stylish -- oh and very quiet! Booked a deluxe with a great view on the eight floor for 65$ -- was more than i wanted to spend but in the end worth every penny.
They've got a great view from the open terrace restaurant on the roof, and the included buffet breakfast was very extensive and very satisfying.
about 10 minute walk to the river and about 5 minutes from the japanese restaurant mentioned in lonely planet(good sushi by the way)
Booked tickets and tours through them and had no trouble cancelling when my girlfriend got sick; they were simply helpful in every respect.
would stay again in a heartbeat.
Steve from canada.
wonderful
from hannahkoWe were extremely impressed by the location, friendliness of the staff, quality of the room, and the breakfast as well.
We arrived late and the staff had everything ready for us. The room was elegant and large. The washroom clean and tidy. In room safe. Breakfast was great as well. Free internet in the lobby. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Highly highly recommended. Worth any reasonable cost.

from amySydneyGreat experience for money paid
from RabFaceThey also have a massage parlour below, which was nice, but I think more for the boys because the girls wear very short skirts and you can see their pants at times!
The breakfast at the hotel was really tasty with a range of fresh fruit and cooked foods, western and asian style.
Definately go there in Hue.
Wonderfull hotel - best experience in Vietnam
from linleyblenheimNZNew gem with great service
from chezkellyThe staff were eager to please, very welcoming and helpful with information. There are about 6 terminals of free internet at the lobby. The room is standard size, very clean, beautifully decorated and comes with a balcony. Beds are comfortable, shower has good pressure. Breakfast is an excellent spread at the rooftop (indoor and outdoor), from local cuisine to western fare, including a variety of cheese, bread, pastries and desserts. Don't miss the noodle soup and rice pancake stations.
Being a new hotel, there were minor glitches. For example, one of the lifts were not working, the cable TV was down for a few hours, the pool was not filled yet. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the hotel, which is centrally located at a relatively quiet street.
Fantastic!!!
from BECBlayney_AustraliaTop Local Tips for Hue
Beware the cyclo drivers Dont take directions from cyclo drivers. We turned down the offer of a ride but asked where the entrance to the Citadel was. We were directed to a secondary entrance. Then miraculously reappeared when we were hopelessly lost. We gave in and accepted a lift to the main entrance. These guys will try anything.
Attractions If you book attractions through agenices you have to be aware that you will pay for say for the trip itself, like a boat trip to see various pagodas and temples etc, gut the amount you pay will not include payments to get into the attractctions or a guide. These will be extra. You will also get hassled a lot by locals wanting to rent you a motorbike. They are very persistant. One thing you must do is go to Bach Ma National Park. It is about and hours drive outside of Hue. You will have to hire a driver for about 50$, but it is worth it. The National Park is absolutely stunning and the 5 Lakes Walk will take you through rianforest leading you to various spectacular pools and waterfalls, especially one whcih is over 300 meters in height. We didn't have the chance to stay in the Park, but if you can I definately would. The guest houses are all converted French Colonial buildings with amazing views. Well worth it.
