just the usual If you are getting a taxi from the airport, book it inside, as the drivers outside will fleece you. In the city you do not have to worry about this as all cabs are metered. American dollars are accepted but i found we had a better deal paying in Dong. In markets haggle if they give you a price just start about 90% less and work up from there. Quite a few bars and restaurants shut around 2pm and open again about 5pm, when we were looking for an afternoon cold beer and lunch it was a bit tricky so we just opted for a huge breakfast and then dinner.
