I was very excited when i have seen Duc Vuong Hotel as it was so new and more professional services. I am satisfied about that, i hope in the future Duc Vuong Hotel will be opened more services and entertainments for the guests.

Heavy Construction marred experience

The hotel is central and very good value for money. But my experience was marred by the heavy construction going on in the hotel- during my stay there, heavy hammering started at 7am in the morning! Not recommended if you intend to sleep in any later than this.

Top Local Tips for Ho Chi Minh

Airport taxi Agree a price of about $7 or use the meter (about 110,000 dong) in advance. And cross the street with care in the battle with the tens of thoudands of motor-cycles. Keep moving and they will avoid you - just don't stop!

Mekong Delta Tour Be sure to get a three star hotel if you are going to stay over night in Can Tho. If you must stay in a two start make sure it is recommended in your guide book. Otherweise, you may be battling giant insects in a shabby room.

Domestic air tickets Vietnam Air is still by far the cheapest though some recommended otherwise on this web site. You can find a Vietnam Air office in most of the main tourist areas.
