Staff were helpful but unobtrusive. Breakfasts were good. Other guests were mainly French and German mature-age tour groups.
There are good restaurants nearby - including baba, or turtle - which we avoided. It cost us about 50,000 dong, or five Australian dollars, to get a taxi into the centre.
