Very friendly and helpful staffs, They seem couldn't do enough for you. We booked Ha Long bay trip with them, it was great tour.
I had a nice experience in Vietnam.

Friendliest staff ever. It\'s my fist time out of the county so having staff there that were full of advice and info aswell as being super friendly was a god send.

We spent 2 nights in the Queen Star hotel and found it quite excellent. Check-in was smooth, despite the fact that we arrived after midnight. Our bags were brought up speedily and no requests or overtures for tips were made at any time during our stay. The room was fairly large and well appointed with everything one would need. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff was very courteous and helpfull. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere in here.

Greeted warmly by staff everyday. Clean and new hotel rooms. Excellent service by front desk and concierge. We booked a car and driver for the day tour, it's funny. All Vietnamese we met are friendly. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone want to go to Vietnam.

This is my favorite place to stay in Hanoi. My 2nd favorite place is the Old Street hotel. The rooms are spacious and very tidy, and the staff is impeccable.
Room service was always prompt and courteous. Housekeeping was very efficient and checked with me every night to make sure my room was perfect. And it was, every night.

Dirty and unsafe hotel

The room was fine but the location was carazy - 5 kms from the central and we have to pay 100.000VND/ day to the central. Staff could not speak English well and cheated alot when we changed the money. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The Old Street hotel is a beautiful hotel. it has all the aspects you would expect of a 5 star hotel in this price range but what sets it apart is the service. The people are wonderful, friendly, helpful and very polite. It's a wonderful hotel, I'd question wether the other hotel is worth the extra expense. This hotel is wonderful and I highly recommend it.

We had a superb stay at the Old Street Star hotel; it is certainly the best hotel we stayed at during our 3 week trip to Viet Nam. We chose it for our first and last night in Viet Nam and were glad to be able to relax in such conditions after the 3 week tour.
The staff were perfect in every sense and very attentive; they always went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable. It's the rest of the hotel.

Top Local Tips for Hanoi

Arrange taxi airport 1 day before. I stayed here in Lunar New Year, it was very difficult to call a taxi, you had to wait more than 1 hour. I had a mistake that I did not arrange a taxi one day before and luckily a boss used his friend's car to took us to airport at the last minute. If not, I had been missed my flight.

Hanoi is a fantastic city! Great walking city! Go see Uncle Ho in the mauseoleum, check out the Women's Museum when it's rehab is finished, enjoy the Temple of Literature. Check out the offerings at CraftLink shops, eat cha co (fish in tumeric and dill sauce), and hang out by the beautiful lake.
