Great location if you want to enjoy the sites and atmosphere of Hanoi. Rooms are fairly small but very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This is one of the most pleasant hotels that I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent as was both the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. We would not stay anywhere else in Hanoi.

This hotel offers good value for the money. It is very clean; the hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and helped to make our stay a pleasant one. We especially appreciated their honesty. My husband left his mobile in our room and staff quickly brought this to our attention.

The location is really handy to all you'd want to see in the Old Quarter. Tommy & the rest of the staff at the "Old Street Hotel" (aka "Queen Star Hotel") were friendly & accommodating. Although street front rooms are noisy, they were clean & comfy. Free internet & included breakfast were great bonuses, although it would be nice if eggs could be served other than just fried - maybe boiled? Tommy arranged our Halong Bay/Cat Ba trip as well, which was great. Over all good value for money.

Location is good. Breakfast is all right, although less variety but worth the room price. Service especially the front manager is very good. But room is to small as the price.

Old Street Hotel is a simple hotel. Rooms are really nice and quite. It's near to many shopping plaza. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is simple but quite OK. The room rate is great for a simple hotel.

Great location! Walking distance to everything, restaurants, entertainment etc. Recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a convenient and comfortable room with all the benefits -including breakfast and great size bathroom. Definitely a great place to stay !!!

Top Local Tips for Hanoi

Arrange taxi airport 1 day before. I stayed here in Lunar New Year, it was very difficult to call a taxi, you had to wait more than 1 hour. I had a mistake that I did not arrange a taxi one day before and luckily a boss used his friend's car to took us to airport at the last minute. If not, I had been missed my flight.

Hanoi is a fantastic city! Great walking city! Go see Uncle Ho in the mauseoleum, check out the Women's Museum when it's rehab is finished, enjoy the Temple of Literature. Check out the offerings at CraftLink shops, eat cha co (fish in tumeric and dill sauce), and hang out by the beautiful lake.
