This was a wonderful small hotel, friendly and helpful staff who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We stayed in a hotel where all the staff we talked to really loved their job and it shows in all sorts of ways. It was good value for money. Thank you all so much for helping us to remember why we all exist in this world and that it is important to share what we have with others.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was great and the hotel staffs were fantastic and very helpful. It was a great base from which to explore the Hanoi Old Quarter Street. The free breakfast is basic, but sets you up for the day with good coffee and fruit, cereal, bread and boiled and omelet eggs available. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located right in the middle of Hanoi and is walking distance from shopping central. Free internet in the lobby. Rooms are pretty big with nice balconies that lead to bathroom, that is convenient and comfortable base for exploring the city.

Our room was kept spotlessly clean and the location was fantastic. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was spacious and was positioned at the back of the hotel, so I imagine it was quieter here than one in the front. Great location in which Ma May Street is in the heart of the Old Quarter and is only a 5-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake.

Good location of being in the old quarter area of Hanoi close to main areas. Taxi organised to pick up from airport poor, driver did not understand any english. Rooms fair, was put up in bad room first night but moved to better room for rest of week. No lift so if on floors above is very awkward with luggage as stairs are narrow and limited space. Most staff very helpful during stay. Staff kept turning air con off at times, I think to save power. Shower was not bad except in a cramp area of the bath. Very good water pressure and hot. Room good size, linen not changed much if at all on bed in the week. Acess to computers limited as staff somewtimes on. Very good help for organising trips, especially Halong Bay. Be very careful when fixing bill up as not sure they did it wrong in American dollars when some items was originally said in Dong prices. Breakfeast was good, just slow and limited space area at times if other guest turn up expecting their meals. Problem at end of stay when staff organising taxi to airport, vehicle was not big enough for passengers and luggage, had to get mini bus, extra time with waiting for arrival in street.

The hotel is close to busy street which was easy to go shopping, an excellent location for a traveler to discover Hanoi Old Quarter. The rooms are really nice with a PC and free internet access, but the thing we will remember most of all was the kindness and helpfulness of staff. Highly recommended.

We felt being cheated when stayed at this hotel. Hotel wa fine, but the location was terrible as it was close to high way that it was very very noisy. Staff were not friendly and helpful. Keep far away from this hotel.

The room is big for the price you pay for, they had just refurbished their room (I think so), my room comes with new carpet. It comes with a living room, 10-15 mins walk to Ben then Market or District 1. Recommended for stay.

The location is right in the middle of Hanoi's drinking. It is well located to access the shopping area of Hoan Kiem Lake and close access to the Malls and night Market in Old Street of Hanoi. All major attractions are close by. Staff always ready to help. Facilities very good. Have no hesitation in saying we will be back again in the near future."

Top Local Tips for Hanoi

Arrange taxi airport 1 day before. I stayed here in Lunar New Year, it was very difficult to call a taxi, you had to wait more than 1 hour. I had a mistake that I did not arrange a taxi one day before and luckily a boss used his friend's car to took us to airport at the last minute. If not, I had been missed my flight.

i love this hotel ha long , sa pa

Hanoi is a fantastic city! Great walking city! Go see Uncle Ho in the mauseoleum, check out the Women's Museum when it's rehab is finished, enjoy the Temple of Literature. Check out the offerings at CraftLink shops, eat cha co (fish in tumeric and dill sauce), and hang out by the beautiful lake.
