“Damp and Dirty”

We stayed in this hotel at the start of July. The hotel rooms were damp and dirty. We had originally booked to stay 2 nights here, but after the first night we had to move out because the beds were damp and we had an awful nights sleep. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

We booked the hotel online on the website for a family of 4. The receptionist and the manager Jimmy are all helpful! Rooms are very clean and reasonbly equipped, with water heater, tv, fridge. Location is very good, very close proximity to Hoan kiem lake (5 mins walk) and to old quarter (5 mins too!) Even after we've checked out for the day and while waiting for our train to depart later in the evening, the staffs allowed us to shower and kept our baggages safely.

Top Local Tips for Hanoi

HALONG BAY If you do decide to go to Halong Bay, stay overnight. The day trip is not worth it and a bit brutal with six hours on a cramped mini van all for a poor lunch and a walk around some caves
