Top Local Tips for Hanoi
Hanoi Old Quarter is so nice ! This hostel has everything you need to make your life easy. We booked a trip to Halong Bay through them, and also our onward tickets to Laos. It seemed a place that several travellers were using as a base whilst travelling different parts of Northern Vietnam, i.e. the hostel would happily look after your bags whilst you went to Halong Bay or Sapa for a few days.
You should visit the Temple of Litterature This is the place where you can learn alot .
A place to relax, enjoy a coffee and a game of chess or draughts The Paloma Cafe, located at 61 Hang Cot Street, near the Prince 3 Hotel, is a great place to relax with a coffee and enjoy an unhurried card game or board game with the locals. The owner doesn't chase you from the premises and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a Parisian street cafe. The light meals available are well prepared and fresh.
