Very good hotel for travelers

The staff was extremely courteous and friendly and very efficient. The smallness of the hotel made it intimate and unique. The free breakfast was a great plus. The concierge was more than helpful. The room was furnished in modern style and very comfortable and pleasant with very nice bathroom. We had a king room with bed split to two twins and travelling with friend - very adequate space. Great staff and great for breakfast.

We arrived (2 adults, 2 small children) in Hanoi after a long tiring journey across the border from China, and although I had said wewould make our own way there, a man on a moto met us where the bus stopped. So far so good. We were given a very large room on the 4th floor which actually had 5 beds in it, clean etc, although the bathroom was a bit grungy. So staying in the room was fine, but we got ripped off big time on the tours and also some train tickets we asked him to get for us. We also wanted to stay an extra night and he said they were full (in fact overbooked, as we witnessed a similar arguement take place to that described previously), but would try and find us somewhere else while we were out on the (prebooked) Perfume Pagoda tour. It was very busy in Hanoi due to flooding in the central regions, and he ended up taking us to some place across the river where no-one spoke englsh etc. Needless to say we refused to stay there and headed into town alone to look for somewhere to stay albeit with 2 now hysterical children thinking they were going to be sleeping on the streets! We found a room for the night at the ATS hotel by the Opera House which was fine. So in conclusion, Blue Paradise OK rooms, but terrible service.
The Best Place to stay!

What makes this hotel so great are the people. From the bellhop to the desk clerks. Everyone could not have been nicer or more helpful. It is within walking distance of almost everything. The rooms are big . The beds are VERY comfortable and the hotel is quiet. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. We stayed 3 nights and would go back if we visit Hanoi again. We stay in many hotels during the year for leisure travel but really we had a strong impressive feeling toward this hotel.

We thoroughly liked this hotel. The location is excellent. It's close enough to the Hoan Kiem lake that you can take a break from wandering around to return to the hotel for a mid-morning "pit-stop".
The hotel entrance area has a really nice and welcoming ambience. The included buffet breakfast is fine, reception were great and concierge was helpful to a fault - so many trips and activities to consider!
We had a room with a view over, well. the peace and quiet suited us just fine.
The room was clean and decently sized, as was the bathroom. The bed was excellent and everything worked, including the hotel Wifi.

By far the best hotel I've ever stayed in and could hope to stay at. Came in knowing nothing about Vietnam and they advised me where to go, what to see, where the deals were, and even had the best instant coffee I've had yet. Plus, there's a delicious breakfast with enthusiastic staff. It's amazing. If there's space, stay here.
Good service with good location

I had read in all reviews about the Blue Paradise Hotel that this hotel was a very good option, new and well located, clean and secure. Even though I paid a lot of attention to the reviews of all the hostels, I thought those concrete reviewers were ezaggerating the quality of that hostel. NOW I CAN SAY I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THEM. THE HOTEL WAS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY, JUST AS I HAD READ IT WAS, IF NOT BETTER. It is so new and modern that we missed it the first time we arrived, as we had been in other hotels, specially in Hanoi, and let's say that normally the websites that offer them are too enthusiatic when they describe them, so we were a bit esceptical... And it's worth every penny, plus you leave without the impression that you have been cheated, on the contrary, you leave knowing that you'll sure go back.

On the meter Make sure you request all trips in taxis to be 'on the meter'. Don't go anywhere unless you know it works if you want to avoid a fight.
Hanoi was terrible for traffic Hanoi was so nice but very noisy with terrible traffic. Sgopping aws so good with reasonable price. Honinian were so kind and friendly and here must be a good place for traveler.
Rip-off You should ask the price in advance ( cannot believe in the metre), showing 10.000VND but the driver can charge you double.
