Do Uzbekis HATE Westerners? Uzbekis were generally pretty rude to us Americans -- not in a "tourists are annoying" way but in a "your government is destroying the World and I'm going to punish you for it" kind of way. At first I just thought they were like the Dutch and had a salty, angry-faced attitude but the more I talked to them, the more I heard that they didn't like our whole country and our visas and thought it was unfair that we were allowed to visit them at all. Then again, two people were really nice to us until they asked for money. I don't want to generalize but just about all 40 or so people we met in Uzbekistan seemed like they wanted to destroy us. Is that the general feeling? Or is it just because we're evil Americans?
