Phi Phi Islands Beautiful to look at, but way too crowded. Skip it and try some other less visited islands to avoid crowds.

Very Hot Don't go in Late April or early May as it is extremely hot and hummid

Natural Restaurant , Phuket Town We went there to eat as it was in Lonely Planet , and unlike many listed there - it still existed . The taxis kept chasing us as we were obviously lost tourists , but we stuck gamely with the map . 40 minutes and growling stomachs later , we reached - it was greeen and almost overloaded with the fountain , the sewing machine tables convered into a dining top were cute , and the picure menu made our job easier . Service is warm , although language is a problem . The two black cats are very friendly after you the fish order - quite sweet ! The food was great . We ordered the Papyaa Salad (120 baht) , Tom Yum (90 bahts) and Fried Sea Bass in Lemongrass Sauce ( 250 bahts for 500 gms /whole fish ) with steamed rice . The whole fish is a must - have never tasted such an exquisite combination of flovours , the warm garlicky lemongrass sauce coupled with the crisp fresh flakiness of the sea bass .The fruit platter after you finish , is a treat . After that , just roll out.
