The pool area is fantastic, although the food and drinks reflect English prices (strange, being we are in Thailand) Rooms are ok,but not 5 star as the hotel prompts. I do travel alot for business,so I do have a distinct impression of what 5 star is and is not

Absolutely safe for anyone Safe, non-threatening streets combined with unspeakably sleazy streetlife is an oxymoron to most westerners. It does exist. It's called Pattaya. Just leave you judgmental spirit back at the hotel and take a stroll around. You'll have no trouble at all and you will sees sights you never knew existed on any planet, let alone ours.
